Eligibility Criteria

Are You Eligible for the P.A.V.E. Program?

To qualify for the P.A.V.E. program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be a resident of the western United States
  • Meet low-income guidelines
  • Be committed to completing the training program

PacWest P.A.V.E. Application Process

Follow these steps to apply for the P.A.V.E. program:

Step 1: Complete the Online Application

Fill out the online application form below with your personal details, educational background, and other information!

Step 2: Submit Your Completed Application to P.A.V.E.

After completely filling out the application form, click on the submit button.  Make sure you provide your updated contact info… including a phone number and e-mail address!

Step 3: Wait for Reply From PacWest P.A.V.E. or local program contact!

Once your application is received and reviewed, you will be contacted to proceed to either proceed to the next steps or informed that you will be placed on a standby list for the next program cohort.

Demographic & Personal Information

The California PAL YARA Program applicants that are selected for the program will be recipients of various scholarship funding dollars from multiple federal/state and private sources. Applicants are required to solicit certain demographic and economic information such as household income to meet reporting requirements. Applications must provide this requested information voluntarily in order to qualify for the YARA program. This information will be kept confidential and will not be utilized in a discriminatory manner.

You must have a valid government issued photo ID to be accepted into the apprenticeship program, you do not need one to apply. Examples: Driver’s License, Passport, Green Card, State ID, Military ID, Tribal Documents

If you are between the ages of 16 - 19 yrs and are still attending high school, please fill out the information in this section.

Parent/Guardian Information

Only minor applicants between the ages of 16-18 are required to fill out this section. If you are over age 18 you do not need to provide this information.

I understand that this application is for possible selection only into the Pacific Western - Pathways to Apprenticeship and Vocational Employment program. I agree that I am bound by the program selection regulations and admission requirements. I agree to the release of any personal information between PacWest - P.A.V.E., LiUNA or any of the other partner & sponsor organizations that are providing resources, funding or training within the P.A.V.E program. I certify that this information is complete and accurate. I understand that making false or fraudulent statements within this application or residency statement will result in denial of admission and invalidation within the P.A.V.E. program. If selected for the P.A.V.E. program, I agree to abide by the policies and procedures of the program as required by the PacWest P.A.V.E., LiUNA and any of the other additional sponsors, program partners or funders.
